Members actively participate in one of two categories of chapters and the at-large category: 

• Campus Chapters...organized at accredited two-year and four-year colleges and universities.
   
• Field Chapters...organized when fifteen or more members of Epsilon Pi Tau recognize a mutual interest for professional advancement or when a campus chapter is not conveniently located to fulfill these interests.

 At-Large members participate directly through a Regional Director who is designated to serve them.
