Mission
The Journal of Technology Studies is a peer-reviewed publication produced by Epsilon Pi Tau, the Leading International Honor Society for Professions in Technology headquartered at Bowling Green State University. The mission of the journal is to be a vehicle to disseminate the latest concepts, trends, and research in the fields of technology in light of current and future realities.
Intended Audience
The Journal is intended for teachers/professors in colleges and universities and practitioners within technology fields, including technology education.
Call for Papers
Faculty, practitioners, and graduate students are invited to submit original manuscripts that can make a valuable contribution to multiple readerships in technology education and applied technology. Papers can address discipline-specific topics, as well as those that are interdisciplinary or multidisciplinary. Topics covering unusual challenges in technology education are welcome. STEM topics may include, but are not limited to:
- Educational research focusing on STEM
- STEM education through engineering design
- STEM education - its impact on a global workforce
- STEM education and educational reform
- K-12 curriculum initiatives for STEM education (PLTW, EiE, Engineering by Design, etc.)
- K-12 STEM outreach programs at universities and colleges
- Best practices on STEM education
Conceptual, developmental, and research articles of a scholarly nature are welcome. All articles must conform to the publication requirements of the journal and will be subjected to peer review.
